I never imagined that dementia would be the doorway to a deeper relationship with my mom—but that’s exactly what it’s become.
This space is a gentle unfolding of the journey we’re on together.
It’s filled with stories, videos, small moments, and things I’m learning along the way. Not just about caregiving—but about grace, humor, forgiveness, and what it means to really show up for someone, every day.
As her memories fade, something unexpected has come into focus:
Us.
The version of our relationship I never had growing up is now the one I get to live—soft, sweet, and full of presence.
There are hard days, of course. But also moments of laughter, deep connection, and love that doesn’t rely on words or history.
Just being here—together—is enough.
If you’re walking a similar path, I hope this page helps you feel less alone.
There’s beauty in the forgetting, too.
There’s healing in showing up.
And there is so much love left to give.
I started this podcast to share the unexpected beauty, humor, and healing I’ve found while caring for my mom through dementia. It’s raw, real, and filled with love. If you’re a caregiver, walking through something similar, or just curious about what this journey can look like—I hope this makes you feel a little more seen, a little more connected, and maybe even a little more hopeful.
